  • We are a play-based, relationship-centered program committed to creating an equitable, inclusive, and nurturing community. Our curriculum is guided by the Vermont Early Learning Standards and responsive to each child’s development, interests, and strengths.

  • We serve children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, including infants, toddlers, preschool, and Pre-K, as well as afterschool and summer camp at Horizon West. Several classrooms partner with Early Head Start, Head Start, and Vermont Universal Pre-K.

  • Horizon West:

    School Year 7am - 5pm

    Summer hours 8am - 4pm. 

    Horizon East:

    School Year 7:30am - 4:30pm

    Summer hours 8am - 4pm.

  • Yes. Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are included daily through CACFP at Horizon West.

    Snacks and Meals are provided by families at Horizon East. Please reach out to the director if your family needs help with covering the cost of meals.

    We are a 100% nut-free school, and menus are adapted for allergies and dietary needs.

  • We use Brightwheel for daily updates, photos, messaging, billing, and incident reports. Parent-teacher conferences are held at least twice per year.

  • We are an inclusive program. Teachers collaborate with families and service providers, attend IEP meetings when invited, and embed goals into daily classroom routines.
